Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, keep financial records accurate, and support month-end and year-end closing. Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies. Support month-end and year-end closing and prepare financial statements. Prepare VAT returns and support Zakat filings in line with ZATCA requirements. Track fixed assets and calculate depreciation. Assist with payroll entries and GOSI-related accounting. Maintain proper documentation and support internal and external audits. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in Saudi Arabia. Good knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations (VAT, Zakat). Hands-on experience with accounting software or an ERP system (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Strong Excel skills.
