Accountant - Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

Platinum Inc. Consultancy is hiring an experienced Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable for a leading organization in the UAE. Key Requirements: Hands-on experience in both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Strong knowledge of customer invoicing, payment collections, and outstanding receivables. Experience in supplier invoice processing, payment coordination, and account reconciliation. Knowledge of bank reconciliation, ageing reports, and financial documentation. Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or Odoo. Basic knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and tax invoices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process customer invoices, credit notes, and payment receipts. Monitor outstanding customer payments and follow up for timely collections. Process supplier invoices and coordinate supplier payments. Reconcile customer and supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies. Prepare accounts receivable and accounts payable ageing reports. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and VAT documentation.
