Accountant (AP Specialist)

As an Accountant (AP Specialist), you will manage accounts payable activities while supporting key accounting and financial reporting processes. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will ensure invoices and expenses are processed accurately and on time, financial records are maintained in our ERP systems, and month-end and year-end closing activities are completed efficiently. You will also contribute to budgeting, cost control, VAT and corporate tax documentation, and external audit preparation, helping to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company procedures. Manage the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, travel claims and expense reports. Monitor operating expenses and prepare cost centre reports, including variance analysis. Support budget and forecast preparation and monitor budget variances. Complete month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals and journal entries. Maintain accurate general ledger postings and financial records in ERP systems. Prepare documentation and schedules for external audits and coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders. Support VAT returns and corporate tax filings by preparing relevant documentation and financial data. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company procedures. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, data accuracy and cost efficiency.
