Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Muscat, Oman. You'll work in an onsite environment, managing the core financial operations of our trading business and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Oversee VAT and tax compliance in accordance with Omani laws and regulations. Assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial analysis. Control AR, AP, and stock ageing, ensuring up-to-date records and follow-ups with customers and suppliers. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a trading or commercial environment. Strong knowledge of Omani VAT, tax, and compliance regulations. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Oracle NetSuite is considered an advantage.
