Accountant - Contracting Industry

Yamas Al-Arabia Construction & Contracting is hiring an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Requirements: 1. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience. 2. Minimum 3 years of experience in the contracting/construction industry. 3. Good understanding of the full accounting cycle. 4. Experience with supplier, subcontractor, customer, and custody accounts. 5. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Odoo, or Oracle. 6. Good knowledge of VAT and tax-related transactions. 7. Experience in account reconciliation and preparing accounting reports. 8. Good Excel and analytical skills. 9. Strong communication and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: - Recording and reviewing accounting entries. - Managing and reconciling supplier and subcontractor accounts. - Following up on supplier payments and subcontractor payment certificates. - Reviewing customer invoices and following up on customer balances. - Handling custody settlements and supporting documents. - Supporting VAT and tax-related transactions. - Preparing Aging Reports and other accounting reports. - Supporting monthly and year-end closing activities. - Assisting with financial statements and management reports. - Preparing financial analysis and reports as required.
