Accounting Manager – Manufacturing

Position: Accounting Manager – Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-Time Project: Union Iron & Steel Factory (UIS) – UCC Holding Location: Abu Dhabi Industrial City (ICAD I), Abu Dhabi, UAE Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with strong manufacturing accounting and product costing experience to join UCC Holding for the Union Iron & Steel Factory (UIS) project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with proven experience in manufacturing, particularly in steel, iron, metals, rolling mills, heavy industrial or process manufacturing. The candidate must understand how manufacturing costs flow from raw materials through production, WIP and finished products, and should have strong hands-on experience in determining the actual cost per ton/unit of finished products. Experience Requirement: - 8–12+ years of accounting and finance and SAP/ERP manufacturing environment experience. - Qualified CA / Chartered Accountant – strongly preferred. - Strong manufacturing industry experience – mandatory. - Proven experience in product costing and manufacturing cost accounting. - Strong experience calculating finished-product cost per ton/unit. - Experience with standard costing, actual costing and variance analysis. - Strong understanding of raw material, labour, energy, conversion and factory overhead costs. - Experience analysing production yield, wastage, scrap and material consumption. - Strong knowledge of WIP and finished-goods valuation. - Experience with SAP/ERP manufacturing environments is preferred.
