Bookkeeper & Accountant ERP

Role Description: The Bookkeeper & Accountant ERP role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuwait City. The individual in this role will manage day-to-day accounting operations within the company’s ERP system, including recording journal entries, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts. Responsibilities include reconciling bank and account statements, preparing periodic financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant financial regulations. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to validate financial data, assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities, and helping optimize ERP workflows for improved financial accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications: Strong bookkeeping and general accounting skills, including journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. Proficiency in ERP accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and ability to manage financial data and workflows within an integrated platform. Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and basic financial analysis to support management decision-making. Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and relevant financial regulations and standards. High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage. Prior experience in a technology or AI-focused environment is a plus.
