Cost Control Lead

Hiring: Cost Control Lead. Location: Qatar Onshore - Doha, Ras Laffan. Duration: 36 months. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, and Statistics. Knowledge and/or Experience: 8 years experience in business related function or discipline, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/subcontractors/service/vendor personnel. Provide expert professional leadership in cost management including estimating, planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, allocation and stewardship of project expenditures within the project. Experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC contractors, sub-contractors, vendors or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry. Knowledge in project business related function/discipline such as planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, claim management, risk management, change management, procurement, pre- and post-award contract management, actionable and informative reporting, support services, lessons learned, etc. Strong knowledge of relevant software and computer skills, e.g., dashboards, data analytics, SAP, etc. Previous experience on major projects, from an Owner’s perspective, managing EPC Contracts (preferably reimbursable and Lump Sum), and working with multi cultural teams with large local subcontractors. Familiar with SAP and other Finance Enterprise System would be an advantage. Capable of performing cost estimation (class 1-5) based on technical definitions and cost budgeting / forecasting during project life-cycle. Good computer literacy skills: Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, PowerQuery), Database and the like.
