Cost Controller and Purchasing

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller & Purchaser with a strong background in the F&B industry to manage food costing, inventory control, purchasing, supplier coordination, and margin analysis across our operations. Key Responsibilities - Monitor food cost, COGS, gross profit, and product margins. - Prepare and maintain recipe costing and BOMs. - Review purchase prices and analyze cost fluctuations. - Conduct and supervise stock counts and investigate inventory variances. - Monitor wastage, stock losses, and consumption. - Coordinate purchasing requirements with kitchen, butchery, and operations teams. - Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure competitive purchasing terms. - Prepare and follow up purchase orders and supplier deliveries. - Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records in SAP/ERP. - Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment without overstocking. - Review supplier invoices against purchase orders, GRPOs, and agreed prices. - Prepare cost-control reports and highlight areas requiring corrective action. Requirements - Previous experience in F&B cost control and purchasing is required. - Strong knowledge of inventory management, recipe costing, BOMs, and food-cost analysis. - Good understanding of purchasing procedures and supplier negotiation. - Experience with SAP or another ERP system is preferred. - Strong Excel and analytical skills. - Detail-oriented, organized, and able to coordinate effectively with multiple departments. - UAE F&B experience is preferred.
