ERP Systems Engineer (Odoo)

Role Summary: The ERP Systems Engineer will lead the implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of the company's Odoo ERP platform. The role will act as the bridge between company business functions and the external Odoo implementation partner, ensuring business requirements are translated into system configurations supporting manufacturing, engineering, procurement, inventory, finance, sales, and maintenance operations with minimal customization. Following implementation, the engineer will own administration, continuous improvement, and platform optimization. Key Responsibilities include: Leading ERP implementation alongside Odoo implementation teams; Gathering and documenting business requirements across departments; Configuring standard Odoo modules; Reviewing and minimizing custom code; Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation; Developing data migration plans from legacy systems; Managing master data including Products, Bills of Materials (BOM), Routings, Work Centres, Vendors, and Customers; Providing first-line technical support and training; Supporting integrations with SolidWorks, PLM/PDM, Power BI, Barcode systems, manufacturing equipment, and attendance systems.
