External Suppliers Accountant

A leading company in the Food Industry is seeking to hire an experienced External Suppliers Accountant to join its Finance Division. Job Title: External Suppliers Accountant. Location: 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce - Accounting Major, Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Supplier Accounting, preferably within the Food Industry or Manufacturing sector, Good knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards, Good experience in working with ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems, Good command of Microsoft Excel, Strong analytical and reporting skills, High attention to detail and accuracy, Good communication, follow-up, and organizational skills, Ability to work effectively with international suppliers and handle foreign currency transactions, Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Manage supplier accounts and monitor outstanding balances and payment obligations, Review and record supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments, Prepare and review supplier account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of balances, Handle foreign currency transactions and related exchange rate adjustments, Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics Departments to verify supplier transactions and supporting documents, Follow up on supplier payments and outstanding invoices, Investigate and resolve discrepancies between supplier statements and company accounting records, Support internal and external audits by providing required supplier-related documents and information, Prepare periodic reports on supplier balances, outstanding invoices, and payment schedules, Maintain accurate and complete supplier accounting records, Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and IFRS standards.
