Finance Business Partner

About the Role: Our client, a global organization operating within the industrial technology and automation sector, is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to oversee financial activities across its UAE and KSA entities. This is a senior finance role requiring strong commercial and operational finance experience, with particular exposure to a sales-driven business environment in the UAE. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, Sales, Service, Finance Shared Services and global stakeholders in a multinational organization. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Planning - Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives. - Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities. - Prepare and present financial reports and business performance analysis. - Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights. Controlling & Compliance - Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with applicable accounting standards and company policies. - Partner with Finance Shared Services on accounting, reporting, AP, AR and master data processes. - Monitor budgets, analyse variances and drive corrective actions. - Maintain effective internal controls and support regulatory compliance. Business Partnering - Partner with Sales and Service teams to provide financial insights for business decisions. - Drive profitability improvement and cost optimization initiatives. - Act as a financial advisor to senior management and commercial stakeholders. - Support commercial and operational teams with financial analysis and performance management. Operational Finance - Oversee credit and collections, payroll and cash management activities. - Manage relationships with external auditors, banks and other financial partners. - Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and operational efficiency. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. - Master's degree or relevant professional qualification is preferred. - 10+ years of overall finance experience. - Strong experience within a sales, commercial or trading-based business environment. - Previous UAE finance experience is essential, with a good understanding of local financial practices and regulations. - Experience managing or supporting financial activities across UAE and/or KSA entities. - Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and controlling. - Experience working within a multinational / matrix organization. - Proven ability to partner with senior management and commercial stakeholders. - Experience supporting Sales, Service and other operational functions. - Strong ERP and financial systems experience; SAP exposure is an advantage. - Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills. - High level of integrity, ownership and attention to detail.
