Finance Expert - Remote

micro1 is engaging Financial Systems & Accounting Experts to support a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems. You'll apply your accounting judgment and financial systems expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs and training data. Prior experience in AI training or human-data work is required. Scope of Work includes evaluating AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries, and accounting treatments, reviewing and annotating financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close workpapers, identifying accounting errors, misstatements, and inconsistencies, assessing accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365, applying written rubrics to evaluate and grade AI responses, creating realistic accounting scenarios and reference answers for AI training, and supporting financial processes from transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting. Required Skills include accounting, financial reporting, financial systems, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and AI training or human data evaluation. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, or FP&A, hands-on experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, or comparable financial systems, and prior paid experience in AI training, data annotation, labeling, or RLHF.
