Finance Manager Location: UAE Industry: E-Commerce, Distribution & Trading Salary - upto 20K AED + Standard UAE benefits ( medical, air ticket , Visa) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a fast-growing distribution and e-commerce business operating across the UAE and KSA. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a high-volume, inventory-driven environment involving multiple product categories, sales channels, suppliers and legal entities. The role requires strong financial reporting capabilities, hands-on accounting leadership, inventory and margin control, working capital management, and experience managing complex financial data across multiple business units. The successful candidate will also lead finance process improvements and drive effective utilisation of the Odoo ERP platform to support business growth, operational efficiency and informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Operations & Group Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations across four legal entities in the UAE and KSA. Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports across multiple entities and business activities. Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, provisions and supporting financial schedules. Ensure accurate reporting of high-volume sales transactions, revenue, cost of goods sold, inventory movements, trade receivables and supplier balances. Maintain financial accuracy across multiple brands, product categories, sales channels and distribution activities. Develop and monitor key financial reports covering sales performance, gross margins, inventory valuation, operating expenses and profitability. 2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Commercial Analysis Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and financial planning across the group. Analyse actual performance against budgets, identifying key variances, cost drivers and improvement opportunities. Prepare profitability analysis by entity, product category, brand and sales channel. Monitor gross margins, pricing structures, promotional costs and distribution expenses to support commercial decisions. Analyse inventory turnover, slow-moving and obsolete stock, stock write-offs and their impact on profitability. Provide actionable insights to senior management on revenue growth, cost optimisation, margin improvement and business performance. 3. ERP Systems & Financial Process Improvement Act as the finance lead for Odoo ERP, ensuring effective use of accounting, inventory, sales and procurement modules. Maintain accurate financial master data, transaction flows, inventory costing and integration between operational and accounting functions. Strengthen automated reporting, financial controls and reconciliation processes across entities. Identify opportunities to streamline high-volume transaction processing, reduce manual intervention and improve reporting accuracy. Collaborate with IT and operational teams to resolve ERP issues, improve system workflows and support business expansion. 4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Manage daily cash flow, liquidity planning and short- to medium-term cash forecasts. Oversee customer collections, credit limits, receivables ageing and overdue account follow-ups. Monitor supplier payment cycles, payment terms and outstanding liabilities. Improve working capital efficiency by balancing inventory holding, customer credit and supplier obligations. Support banking relationships, foreign exchange transactions, intercompany transfers and treasury activities across the UAE and KSA. Monitor cash conversion cycles and identify opportunities to improve liquidity. 5. Taxation, Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with applicable UAE and KSA accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, Zakat and other statutory requirements. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisers to complete statutory audits and filings on time. Maintain robust internal controls across sales, purchasing, inventory, cash management and financial reporting. Ensure accurate intercompany accounting, reconciliations and supporting documentation across all legal entities. Support statutory registrations, financial disclosures and regulatory reporting requirements in both jurisdictions. 6. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, ensuring clear responsibilities, effective controls and timely deliverables. Review team output and maintain high standards of accuracy across routine accounting and management reporting. Work closely with sales, procurement, warehouse, logistics and operations teams to reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies. Establish standardised reporting processes and finance KPIs to support consistent performance across the group. Partner with senior management on financial planning, commercial performance and operational improvements.
