General Accountant - Saudi

Accountant (Petty Cash & GL) - Riyadh About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage petty cash, journal entries, and general ledger activities within a fast-paced contracting environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage and monitor petty cash transactions - Record and post journal entries accurately - Maintain general ledger and ensure proper account classification - Perform account reconciliations (cash, bank, and other accounts) - Ensure all financial records are properly documented - Support month-end closing and reporting - Assist in audit requirements and financial reviews Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 2-3 years of relevant experience (preferably in contracting/construction) - Hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) - Strong knowledge of GL and accounting principles - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Fluency in English Skills - Attention to detail - Strong organizational skills - Ability to work under pressure - Good communication skills
