GL Accountant

We are hiring a GL Accountant for our client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: 5–8 years Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end closing and financial reporting Manage GL activities, reconciliations and intercompany transactions Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements Support internal and external audits Ensure accurate accruals, assets and liabilities Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls Coordinate with internal stakeholders and support Tax & Fixed Assets functions Requirements: Strong experience in core accounting and GL Advanced knowledge of IFRS SAP / Finance systems experience preferred Advanced MS Office skills Excellent analytical and reporting skills ACA or ACCA or CIMA qualification is a must
