Head – Supply Chain

Supply Chain Management: Manage activities of all supply chain teams involved in procurement, operations planning, and control of materials from receipt of forecasted replenishment needs to delivery of finished products. Work closely with sales & marketing and operations management to conclude demand planning process and ensure effectiveness of operations planning and inventory control. Develop and manage supply chain analytics, systems, and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports. Procurement: Effectively manage and control sourcing strategies and keep them in alignment with organization's business strategies. Perform periodic review of sourcing strategy to ensure achievement of desired results. Actively seek creative supply solutions to optimize cost and value equation. Monitor and report on cost trends for key commodities impacting product categories. Supplier Relations Management: Ensure all supplier contracts are complete, properly executed, and consider all cost variables. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, operations, and distribution capabilities. Contracts Management: Ensure adherence to organizational contractual templates and guide resolution of exceptions or challenges. Review key risks and approve risk mitigation measures during contract negotiations. Operations Planning: Review effectiveness of operations planning and optimization process, ensuring strong collaboration between teams. Review analysis of sales pipeline, demand forecast, operational and plant capabilities and ERP system capabilities. Inventory Control: Develop and continuously evaluate inventory goals effectively balancing cash-flow and inventory turnover rates. Manage inventory and establish controls to operate at highest level of performance. Logistics Management: Oversee inbound and outbound transportation management, fleet management, order fulfilment and logistics network design. Develop overall logistics network and infrastructure supporting market reach cost-effectively. Strategy & Operational Business Plans: Formulate and implement department strategy in line with vision, strategic and business plans. Budgets and Plans: Recommend supply chain budget and monitor performance versus budget. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures: Design and implement approved departmental policies and procedures. Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment (QHSSE): Adhere to relevant QHSSE procedures and instructions. Leadership/People Management: Organize and supervise activities of direct reports. Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback. Continuous Improvement: Motivate team and contribute towards identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Change Management: Contribute to identification of opportunities to take part in change initiatives.
