Lead Solutions Architect

Lead Solution Architect – Oil & Gas (Upstream) - 12 Month Contract - Abu Dhabi. We have an engagement with a global consultancy who specialises in O&G industry technology programs. We're looking for an experienced Lead Solution Architect to lead solution design and architecture governance across an upstream oil and gas environment. You'll oversee the Solution Architecture Centre of Excellence, guide senior architects and ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with business needs. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end solution architecture across upstream initiatives, defining architecture standards and best practices, reviewing and approving high-level designs, managing architecture governance, and working closely with business stakeholders and vendors. What we're looking for: 10+ years of IT experience, including senior architecture leadership roles. Strong solution and enterprise architecture experience within upstream oil and gas. Broad technical knowledge across ERP, SCADA, upstream technologies, integration, digital and data platforms. Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and formal governance processes. Proven ability to lead senior architects and influence executive stakeholders.
