Material Contracts Analyst

Brief Job Description: - Execute purchase requisitions for materials in accordance with approved specifications, delivery requirements, and established procurement procedures. - Source qualified vendors, obtain competitive quotations, and perform commercial evaluations to ensure best value, quality, and delivery. - Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and monitor order progress, expediting where necessary to meet project and operational schedules. - Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, operations, inspection, logistics, and warehouse teams to clarify material requirements and resolve issues. - Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. - Review vendor documentation, certifications, inspection requirements in line with industry and contractual standards. - Resolve discrepancies in pricing, quantity, delivery, invoicing in with vendors and internal stakeholders. - Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and reporting within the ERP/system. - Support supplier performance management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in materials procurement, preferably within the oil & gas, petrochemical industries - Familiarity with technical materials, industry codes, and documentation commonly used in petrochemical operations. - Experience using ERP systems (SAP Ariba). Skills: - Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent coordination and relationship-building abilities with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments. - Good understanding of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), quality assurance, and ethical procurement standards. - Proficiency in procurement processes, contract administration, and supplier performance management. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
