MEP Procurement Engineer

We are looking for an experienced MEP Procurement Engineer to join our team and manage end-to-end procurement activities for real estate development and construction projects in the UAE. Key Responsibilities: - Manage procurement of MEP materials, equipment and subcontractor packages - Handle RFQs, RFPs, tendering, bid evaluations and supplier negotiations - Source Electrical, HVAC, FF, Plumbing and equipments - Conduct technical & commercial evaluations with project stakeholders - Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranties and contractual conditions - Develop and manage approved supplier & subcontractor databases - Conduct vendor prequalification and performance evaluations - Support contract administration, variations and commercial negotiations - Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities - Monitor procurement schedules, lead times and supply-chain risks - Coordinate closely with Development, Design, Engineering, Projects, Commercial, Finance and Planning teams Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Supply Chain Management - 5-8 years of procurement experience in real estate, construction, contracting or infrastructure - Strong experience in MEP material procurement and subcontractor packages - UAE/GCC construction and real estate market experience must - Strong commercial negotiation and supplier-management skills - Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems - CIPS, CPSM, PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage
