Plant Accountant

The Plant Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting Kerry’s Operations finance function to deliver timely and accurate financial information and analysis to key stakeholders within Sohar Plant in Oman. Key responsibilities include management reports, manufacturing plant commentary on financial performance, monthly financial reporting against budget, analysis and insights on inventory, active participation in physical inventory count, variance reconciliation by analyzing material movements in SAP, fixed asset tagging, periodic report and control mechanism for P2P, material ledger closing, partnering with supply chain to review material costs, product and process costing, and ensuring compliance with Kerry Group policies and procedures. Qualifications include a degree in Finance & Accounting, Business or numerical discipline with relevant accountancy body qualification preferred, and knowledge on executing day-to-day activities in SAP is a must. Minimum 5-10 years of related and progressive sets of functional experiences in plant.
