Procurement Coordinator

We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to handle the procurement of materials, supplier registrations, payment terms, and material part number code creation within the system. The role involves material procurement and delivery as per LPO schedules, negotiation for material procurement and discounts, release of LPOs, and submission and approval of invoices working closely with the finance team. Logistics Works: - Plan material and shipments to and from the site within UAE. - Submit inquiries, negotiate with freight forwarders, and book shipments. - Track material inflow and inform sales teams and project managers on a timely basis. - Arrange deliveries at warehouses and sites as per INCOTERMS and maintain freight forwarder databases. Other Works: - Lighting projects estimation and design on Dialux, AGI 32, Sketchup, 3D Modelling, and AutoCAD software. - Project material submittals and compliance statement preparation. - Warranty claim follow-up, spares stock maintenance, and sample order processing. - Perform site visits and energy audits when applicable. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical or equivalent). - Minimum 3 years of experience in the lighting industry. - Competency in Microsoft applications and software knowledge including MS Projects, Primavera, Dialux, AutoCAD, and AGI32. - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain coordination. - Experience in sourcing materials related to solar systems, lighting products, electrical components, and energy solutions. - Knowledge of ERP systems, procurement software, and inventory management tools.
