Procurement Manager

JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the procurement strategy for our commercial projects, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with our objectives and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts to achieve favorable terms while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Role Summary: Lead the procurement process for procurement projects, from identifying needs to supplier selection and contract management. Develop and implement procurement strategies. Negotiate contracts with suppliers. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Analyze procurement trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Monitor supplier performance and manage risks. Key Responsibilities: Manages, coaches, and mentors junior staff. Executes and administrates complex contract agreements. Reviews bid returns and collates Combined Award Recommendation (CAR). Develops vendor lists, prequalification, RFPs, and RFQs. Ensures compliance of all procurement activities with client policies and digital systems. Requirements: Tertiary Qualification or Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field. Holding CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP is an advantage. Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement management experience within large-scale design and construction programs. In-depth knowledge of Procurement legislation. Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management. Proficient use of Procurement software such as Prism, SAP, and Ariba.
