Procurement Officer

Responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for Air Arabia Dammam, ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of goods and services to support business and operational requirements. Coordinates with the Air Arabia Central Procurement team on category-specific sourcing strategies while managing local supplier relationships within KSA, competitive tendering, negotiations, contracts, inventory, and delivery performance. Key Result Responsibilities: - Lead sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories to optimize cost, value, and budget performance. - Coordinate with Category Specialists and Centralized Procurement for HOTAC, Ground Operations, IT, Insurance, In-flight Consumables, Uniforms, and Logistics. - Manage end-to-end procurement and competitive tendering processes ensuring compliant acquisition. - Manage supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, and contract lifecycle. - Ensure procurement transactions are processed through Oracle Fusion in accordance with established controls, including the three-way matching principle. - Manage inventory and storage of recurring items, maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels. - Prepare procurement MIS and periodic status reports. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Supply Chain or related field. - MCIPS qualification is desirable. - Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel. - Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience in indirect or IT/technical procurement. - Hands-on experience of Procurement software such as Oracle Fusion.
