About the Role BEC Arabia is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. As a key member of the Procurement Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services essential to the success of our construction and infrastructure projects. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and suppliers, you will play a critical role in maintaining supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements. Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules. Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets. Coordinate with project teams to identify material and equipment needs. Maintain and update procurement records, including purchase orders and contracts. Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, including Saudi Labor Law and GOSI. Collaborate with QA/QC teams to verify the quality and specifications of procured items. Utilize procurement software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Prepare and present regular procurement reports to senior management. Resolve disputes with suppliers or vendors professionally.
