Procurement Specialist - Food Industry

Responsibilities Manage day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities. Source and evaluate suppliers, with a strong focus on food products and related supplies. Compare prices and identify cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages. Coordinate closely with warehouse and operations teams regarding stock requirements. Prepare and follow up on purchase orders and supplier deliveries. Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records. Use Odoo ERP for purchasing, inventory tracking, and reporting. Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve procurement efficiency.
