Production Engineer

What You'll Do The Production Engineer is responsible to Lead the production activities while coordinating closely with Safety, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production team leaders. The role focuses on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost through effective process design, Lean manufacturing principles, SAP master data integrity, and structured problem solving methodologies. Basically, Production Engineer Will Be In Charge Of: - Assembling GEIS components & modules into complete bays through a lean & flow production line - Using production planning procedures to achieve efficient processes and optimal resource use - Direct and coordinate plant operations to meet production schedule - Responsible for product quality control in the plant - Regularly update factory production forecast and milestone dates - Take the lead in production planning within all business departments - Inquiry logistics of GEIS components and modules from feeder factories - Prepare complete order handling including FAT (factory acceptance test) - Support continuous improvement and maintain safe working environment following MESH guidelines Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (MS/MBA is a plus) - 5-8 years experience in Production/Manufacturing/Fabrication environment Skills: - Fluent in Arabic and English - In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing concepts - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - MES (Manufacturing Execution System) expertise - Systems expertise in SAP R/3 and SAP BW desired or any other ERP system - Hands-on application of manufacturing methodologies: Kan-Ban, 2 Bin System, Poke Yoke, One piece Flow, TOC, TPM
