Production Planner

Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on orders, priorities and available capacity. Hands-on experience with Odoo Manufacturing / Planning Module is required. Plan production considering BOM, routing, work centers, manpower, machines and material availability. Experience with electrical and mechanical assembly processes and their production stages. Understand and plan multi-stage production processes with proper sequence and priorities. Conduct actual time studies and real-time production run-time measurements for operations. Establish and update standard cycle times / operation times based on actual production data. Calculate production capacity, manpower requirements and machine utilization. Monitor planned vs. actual production and update plans accordingly. Identify bottlenecks, delays and capacity constraints and adjust production schedules. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Stores, Procurement and QC to ensure smooth production flow. Ensure required materials and components are available before releasing production orders. Track WIP at different production stages and maintain production status in Odoo. Prepare production reports, capacity reports and plan vs. actual performance reports. Continuously improve production planning based on actual production performance.
