Purchaser

The Purchaser is responsible to study and understand the requisition of materials from various jobs and contracts, source ideal suppliers, negotiate optimum prices, and manage appropriate logistics for delivery while effectively managing inventory levels. Responsibilities include assisting in procuring materials, equipment, hire services, and subcontracts according to purchasing policies, reviewing supplier quotes, placing orders, maintaining accurate purchase and inventory records, monitoring supplier performance, and coordinating with project and site managers. Qualifications include graduation in commerce or a diploma in electrical engineering, supply chain certification as a plus, and at least 5 years of experience in project materials purchase within an electrical contracting company dealing in high voltage, low voltage, solar, and energy savings. Proficiency in ERP MM module with SAP as a plus and Microsoft Office is required.
