Raw Material Planner

Hiring: Raw Material Planner Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE | Factory-based Salary: AED 5,000 - 6,000 per month We’re hiring a Raw Material Planner to ensure production has the materials it needs while controlling inventory and reducing shortages, excess stock, and obsolete materials. The position sits within the procurement team. Key responsibilities: - Calculate raw material requirements using production plans, forecasts, and MRP. - Monitor stock levels, safety stock, minimum order quantities, and supplier lead times. - Identify potential shortages and coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers on deliveries. - Track excess, slow-moving, and near-expiry materials. - Maintain accurate planning parameters in the ERP. - Prepare material availability, shortage, and inventory reports. Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of material planning/MRP experience, preferably in paint, chemical, or manufacturing companies. - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM, inventory control, and production planning. - Hands-on ERP experience and strong analytical and coordination skills. - Previous raw material buying experience, particularly chemical products, is an advantage.
