Sap Financial Accounting Senior Consultant

Company: Sarky Jewelry, Abu Dhabi, UAE We looking for an Senior Accountant & Operations Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The position primarily focuses on accounting and finance, with additional involvement in operations and business support. We are looking for someone who is sharp, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident enough to identify issues and recommend solutions rather than simply process transactions. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance • Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations. • Review invoices and supporting documents before recording transactions. • Maintain accurate financial and inventory-related accounting records. • Support monthly and year-end closing. • Prepare financial reports and reconciliations. • Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing. UAE VAT & Tax • Ensure accounting records comply with UAE FTA and VAT requirements. • Prepare VAT-related records and VAT returns. • Maintain supporting documentation for tax compliance. • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when required. Systems • Manage accounting and operational transactions through SAP Business One. • Maintain accurate financial and inventory information within the system. • Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis. Operations & Business Support As the daily accounting transaction volume is manageable, the position will also support other areas of the business, including: • Day-to-day operational and administrative activities. • Management support and internal coordination. • Communication with departments, suppliers, and customers. • Customer-related activities when required. • Process and workflow improvements. • Additional responsibilities as the role develops. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional accounting experience in the UAE. • Approximately 2–3 years of hands-on SAP Business One experience is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. • Good knowledge of UAE FTA, VAT, and tax compliance requirements, including VAT return preparation and submission. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. • Good English communication skills. • Experience with inventory-based businesses is an advantage. • Experience with WinGold / WinGold Next is an advantage. • Jewelry, luxury retail, or similar industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
