Supervise store staff in performing their duties in addition to performing warehousing sectional functions in handling goods and services to all areas of Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in accordance with departmental objectives. Ensure warehouse procedures are followed in accordance with company practices and EHS policies. Pre-plan and allocate work to store staff, carry out housekeeping, and maintain mobile, lifting gear, and other warehouse equipment in good working order. Obtain acknowledgement of and record all issues in the SAP system through barcode scanners. Ensure receiving store staff accepts goods conforming to required specifications and description, and issuing store staff dispatches the right item in the right quantity, quality, and time, optimising issues and site deliveries. Ensure all items received are barcode labelled and located in correct bins with bin labels. Perform physical stock taking as per cycle count for all materials, ensure proper maintenance of stock items, record and monitor accurately all receipts in the SAP system through barcode scanners, and prepare gate passes for local and overseas destinations. Comply with all relevant EHS management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
