Shipping Specialist

Job Purpose: Manage and follow up on local and international shipping operations, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and efficiently while coordinating with suppliers, shipping companies, warehouses, and internal departments. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Key Responsibilities: - Follow up on local and international shipments from suppliers until delivery to the warehouse. - Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipments. - Track shipment schedules, departure and arrival dates, and maintain accurate shipment updates. - Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth receiving and accurate shipment quantities. - Handle shipment delays and operational issues with relevant parties. - Update shipment information and status in the ERP system. - Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory, Finance, and other related departments. - Monitor shipping costs, quotations, and invoices. - Follow up on customs clearance and shipping requirements when required. - Prepare regular reports on shipment status, delays, costs, and operational issues. - Monitor the performance of shipping companies and service providers. - Maintain accurate and organized shipping records. - Support improvements in shipping efficiency, lead time, and operational costs. Qualifications: - Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
