Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations for a food industry business based between Ajman and Sharjah. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience specifically within the food sector, strong hands-on proficiency in SAP, and current UAE market experience. This role requires a hands-on operator who can manage inventory accuracy, warehouse staff, food safety compliance, and logistics coordination in a fast-paced, perishable-goods environment. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of food products. - Manage and optimize warehouse layout and storage conditions to ensure compliance with food safety and cold chain requirements. - Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff to ensure efficient daily operations across a 6-day operating week. - Maintain accurate real-time inventory records using SAP, including stock counts, cycle counts, and periodic full inventory audits. - Monitor stock levels to minimize spoilage, wastage, and expiry losses in perishable inventory. - Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are strictly followed for all food stock movement. - Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams for inbound and outbound shipments. - Ensure full compliance with UAE food safety, hygiene, and municipality regulations. - Manage warehouse KPIs: order accuracy, dispatch timelines, inventory accuracy, and cost control. - Handle documentation for goods receipt notes (GRN), delivery notes, stock transfers, and damage/return processing within SAP. Required Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager specifically within the food industry (FMCG, food distribution, food manufacturing). - Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP (WM/MM modules or equivalent inventory management functionality). - UAE-based candidates only — must currently reside in the UAE. - Strong knowledge of food storage standards, cold chain handling, and expiry/batch management.
