Accountant

We are currently hiring for an Accountant within Arla Foods in Muscat, Oman. Working closely with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, HR, and external partners, you will help ensure that accounting transactions, reconciliations, and reporting activities are completed accurately and on time. Process and review supplier and customer invoices, credit notes, collections, payments, and journal entries. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, including accruals, provisions, and intercompany confirmations. Prepare and validate balance sheet, bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations, while following up on ageing items and overdue balances. Ensure compliance with Oman VAT, tax requirements, and internal controls. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and management reporting. Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline, strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation capability, and Microsoft Excel proficiency. ERP experience with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365, along with Power BI, is an advantage.
