Accountant

A leading construction company in the UAE is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join its Finance team. Key Responsibilities: Handle daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger activities. Manage accounts payable, supplier invoices, and payment processing. Monitor accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Support project cost tracking, expense allocation, and financial reporting. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience. Experience in the UAE construction or contracting industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting. Experience with Oracle ERP or equivalent accounting systems. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
