Accountant

Job Summary: One of our clients are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the preparation of financial statements and reports. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with company policies, applicable accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: - Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system. - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoices, payments, and collections. - Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile customer and supplier accounts. - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. - Support monthly closing activities and ensure accurate recording of expenses and revenues. - Monitor cash flow, expenses, and general ledger accounts. - Maintain and organize accounting documents, invoices, receipts, and supporting records. - Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and variance reporting. - Support internal and external audits by providing the required financial documents. - Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, VAT requirements, ZATCA regulations, and company financial policies. - Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience. - Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Experience with accounting software and ERP systems. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. - Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. - Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
