Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support the Finance function and report directly to the CFO. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with applicable KSA accounting and ZATCA requirements. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and reconcile general ledger, bank, AP, and AR accounts. - Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and support month-end closing. - Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis. - Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses. - Ensure compliance with KSA VAT and ZATCA requirements, including VAT reconciliations and returns. - Support ZATCA e-invoicing compliance and maintain proper financial documentation. - Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. - Support payroll accounting and employee expense processing. - Coordinate with external auditors and provide required schedules and supporting documents. - Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards (IFRS). - Assist with ERP/accounting system improvements and finance process optimization. Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in KSA. - Strong knowledge of KSA VAT, ZATCA requirements, and e-invoicing. - Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting. - Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks. - Strong Microsoft Excel skills. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. - CPA, ACCA, CMA, or SOCPA qualification is an advantage
