Accountant - Odoo & Project Finance

CD+M Lighting Design Group is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Dubai office. We are specifically looking for someone with strong hands-on Odoo Accounting experience, minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, and previous experience within an architectural, engineering, interior design, lighting design, or sub-consultancy/design consultancy firm. Strong understanding of project-based accounting, project invoicing, WIP/unbilled fees, variations and collections. Accounts receivable & payable, monthly closing and management reporting, UAE VAT & Corporate Tax knowledge, payroll accounting & WPS, multi-company and multi-currency accounting, strong reconciliation and financial-control skills. This is not simply a bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who understands the financial structure of a project-based design consultancy and can confidently manage Odoo as the company’s financial source of truth. The existing JD specifically places significant emphasis on project-level financial control, including contract values, variations, invoicing, collections and unbilled work.
