Accountant (Sales)

Job Purpose: Accountant (Sales) is responsible for high volume of customer billing the sales division AR auto invoicing module and accurate issuance of hydrocarbon invoices and bills of services which are provided to customers based on approved contractual terms & conditions and in line with corporate policy. Manages accounts receivable in regard of auto sales division AR invoicing processes, safeguarding revenue streams and ensuring precise financial records. Job Specific Accountabilities: - Ensure customers are accurately invoiced in SAP system for all hydrocarbon products and services within established deadlines. - Process sales orders & deliveries transactions with precision, maintaining high accuracy in financial entries. - Work closely with Finance Controller to ensure timely completion of invoice processing for AR finance closing period. - Generate invoices on monthly basis for commercial and government customers. - Assist internal and external audit and ICFR team on monthly/year-end audit requirements and billing reports. - Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in sales data to maintain financial integrity. - Develop and implement internal control measures to safeguard revenue streams of AR invoices. - Ensure seamless integration of sales invoices data into the financial accounting system. - Prepare detailed sales billing reports and financial analysis of outstanding balance of AR invoices. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, commercial or related field. - 6 years of experience in accounting in a similar environment. - Knowledge of SAP and Ariba system business workflows, operations processes, accounting management systems.
