Job description

Accounts Receivable & Rent Collection: Generate monthly rent invoices using the ERP system, ensuring accuracy of unit size and applicable rent per sq. ft., annual escalations, service charge recoveries, utility recharges, etc. Process post-dated cheques received from tenants, maintain cheque register, and deposit on due dates. Monitor bank account for rent collections and reconcile receipts against tenant accounts daily. Follow up on overdue rent payments and prepare daily and weekly accounts receivable aging reports. Accounts Payable & Vendor Payments: Receive and verify supplier invoices for accuracy, proper approval, and matching with purchase orders and goods receipt notes. Code invoices to correct general ledger accounts per the chart of accounts. Prepare payment runs for Finance Director review and approval. Bank & Cash Management: Prepare daily bank reconciliations for all subsidiary bank accounts. Monitor cash balances and process petty cash reimbursements. Prepare security deposit ledger. General Ledger & Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries for recurring transactions including monthly rent revenue recognition, depreciation, prepaid expenses amortization, and accruals. Assist Finance Director in month-end closing. VAT & Tax Support: Prepare VAT reconciliations for input and output VAT. Assist in preparing VAT return workings for submission to FTA and maintain VAT invoice register. Financial Reporting, Compliance & Audit Support: Assist in preparing financial reports as per IFRS standards, property-level P&L schedules, and audit support.
