Job Description Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Prepare and maintain accurate invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents. Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations. Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up. Assist with monthly closing, financial reports, and management reporting. Maintain proper documentation and records of all accounting transactions. Assist in the preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with applicable VAT requirements. Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding finance-related matters. Assist with payroll-related accounting activities, as required. Support internal and external audits by providing the required financial records and documentation. Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported by relevant documents. Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and applicable UAE regulations. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role. Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills. Strong hands-on experience on UAE accounting practices, VAT, and financial reporting. Proven experience handling full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and VAT return preparation. Experience in preparing financial statements, management reports, account schedules, and reconciliations. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software. Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting/ERP systems. Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial procedures. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently, take ownership of accounting activities, and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent will be an advantage. Candidates available to join on short notice will be preferred.
