Assistant Accountant / Accountant

Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. Manage the company’s accounting systems and financial records. Evaluate and keep track of the company’s cost expenditures. Gather and analyze the company’s operational costs. Prepare and maintain internal audit reports. Analyze costs related to accounting, budgeting, taxation, and other financial activities. Recommend ways to reduce costs and prepare budget adjustments. Prepare budgets and cost estimates for projects across the company. Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports. Maintain inventory data by reviewing invoices, purchase orders, etc. Advise the company’s executives on appropriate costing based on financial data. Administer and maintain the company’s balance sheets and accounting books. Identify and implement cost-efficient solutions that will improve business processes. Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department). Analyze and report profit margins. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual cost forecasts. Assisting in month-end and year-end closing.
