Assistant Manager Finance

The requirement is for Assistant Manager – Finance based in Dubai, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. The position supports group financial reporting and consolidation, IFRS compliance, tax and statutory compliances, and detailed review and scrutiny of books of accounts for assigned entities within the group. Key responsibilities include managing monthly and annual closing, performing detailed scrutiny of general ledgers, balance sheets, accruals, provisions, and prepayments, preparing standalone and consolidated financial statements, ensuring IFRS application, owning UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, coordinating statutory audits, and reviewing intercompany transactions. Required qualifications include a mandatory professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, 5+ years of relevant finance experience, strong practical knowledge of IFRS and consolidation, knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, advanced MS Excel, and good ERP experience such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
