We are Hiring. AsiaAluminium is seeking a Buyer to support its Supply Chain operations by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and efficient procurement of materials and supplies. Tasks and Responsibilities: Purchase Request Review: Receive and review approved Purchase Requests, ensuring specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements are clear and complete. Supplier Sourcing and Quotation Evaluation: Identify suitable suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, compare offers, and recommend the most appropriate suppliers. Price and Terms Negotiation: Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions to achieve the best value for the company. Purchase Order Management: Prepare and follow up on Purchase Orders in accordance with the company’s approval process and established authority levels. Supplier and Delivery Follow-up: Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules, coordinate with Warehouse, Quality Control, and request departments, and resolve delayed, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect deliveries. Procurement Records and Compliance: Maintain accurate procurement records, update transactions in the ERP system, support urgent purchasing requirements, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Good knowledge of supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation, and Purchase Order processing. Good knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills. Good commercial and cost awareness with attention to detail.
