Chief Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Chief Accountant to join our Finance team in a leading manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations. • Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations. • Lead the month-end and year-end closing process and ensure timely reporting. • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports. • Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and tax regulations. • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants. • Strengthen accounting procedures and internal controls. • Support budgeting, financial analysis, and cash-flow management. • Supervise, coach, and develop the accounting team. • Ensure accurate accounting records and effective use of the company’s ERP/SAP system. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. • Solid knowledge of Egyptian accounting and tax regulations. • Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting. • Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
