Job description
Job Purpose: The role will be responsible for managing the contract lifecycle, from preparation and review through negotiation, execution, administration, renewal and closure, while ensuring effective supplier evaluation, registration and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate contracts, agreements, amendments and extensions throughout their lifecycle. Review contractual terms, deliverables, payment terms, warranties, guarantees, liabilities, insurance, penalties and termination conditions. Coordinate contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors and ensure the required reviews and approvals are completed. Monitor contract obligations, milestones, deliverables, expiry dates, renewals, guarantees and warranties. Coordinate supplier performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, technical, commercial, HSE and compliance criteria. Maintain supplier registration and compliance documentation, including CR, VAT, Zakat, licenses, bank details and certifications. Maintain accurate contract records and the central Contract Register in SAP or the approved system. Prepare periodic reports highlighting contract expiries, supplier performance, compliance gaps and contractual risks. Coordinate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, Projects, Maintenance and other relevant departments. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Contract Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract management, procurement, supplier management or supply chain. Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle management, supplier evaluation and contractual risk review. Good knowledge of SAP / SAP S/4HANA; SAP Ariba is an advantage. Strong analytical, reporting, documentation and Excel skills. Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. Experience in cement, construction, EPC, power, oil & gas, or other heavy industries is preferred. Relevant professional certification in contract management or supply chain is an advantage.
