Job description
We are looking for a Cost Analyst to support cost analysis, service-line profitability and financial planning in a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Allocating shared and support costs across departments and service lines
- Developing unit-cost measures, including cost per patient day, visit, procedure and laboratory test
- Preparing profitability analysis by department, service line and physician
- Supporting budgets, forecasts and monthly variance analysis
- Analyzing operational drivers, payer mix and cost-efficiency opportunities
- Supporting month-end allocations, accruals, provisions and reconciliations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of cost accounting, management accounting, budgeting or financial-analysis experience
- Strong Excel, financial-modelling and ERP skills
- Healthcare or hospital-costing experience is preferred
- Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems is an advantage
