Cost Control Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Engineer to support project financial performance by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project costs across multiple projects. The role will work closely with Project, Commercial, Production, Finance, and Estimation teams to ensure effective cost management, accurate forecasting, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include preparing Cost to Complete reports, monitoring project costs against budgets, reviewing purchase orders, tracking costs recorded in SAP and coordinating with Finance, maintaining variation registers, establishing Cost Breakdown Structures, calculating Actual Cost of Work Performed, preparing cash flow forecasts, and supporting audits. Requirements include a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, 5-10 years of experience in cost control or project accounting within oil and gas, marine, construction, or EPC projects, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
