Cost Controller - SD/TA Project

Experienced Cost Controller for a major Oil & Gas Shutdown/Turnaround (SD/TA) Project in Qatar. Position: Cost Controller – SD/TA Project Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Experience: 4–5 years in Oil & Gas GCC Experience: Minimum 4 years in Shutdown/Turnaround projects Salary: QAR 8,000 + FAT Key Responsibilities: • Project budgeting & cost control • Budget, commitment, actual cost & forecast tracking • Daily/weekly cost monitoring during shutdown execution • Manpower & man-hour cost tracking • Productivity & Earned Value monitoring (EV, PV, AC, CPI & SPI) • EAC/ETC forecasts and cost reporting • Dashboards, S-curves & management reports • Scope changes, variations & change orders • Cost reconciliation & project close-out • Coordination with Procurement, Finance, Planning & Timekeeping teams Required Skills: • Cost Control, Budgeting & Forecasting • WBS, CBS & Cost Coding • Primavera P6 – Cost & Schedule Integration • Advanced MS Excel – Pivot Tables, Lookups & Dashboards • ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle/COINS) is an advantage • Subcontract costs, commercial terms & variation management PMP Certification – Added Advantage Location: Qatar Industry: Oil & Gas Project: Shutdown / Turnaround
